Intern

Internship begins immediately. Schedule is flexible and will include 10 hours per week.

Position Summary: We are looking for an intern to provide research and administrative assistance. The position includes working with community groups, analyzing resources, and contributing to Bexar Land Trust’s mission: preserving land and the natural, historic, archeological, and cultural resources in Bexar County and the surrounding area. The intern will report to the executive director and work with project coordinators and staff.

Qualifications: Good verbal and written communication skills and good organizational skills are essential. Applicants must be familiar with Microsoft Office — including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel — and have good Internet research skills. GIS skills are a plus.

Stipend: Stipend of $500 will be paid every six weeks.
